Maya Blacken (she/her/hers) is a committed and multi-faceted community impact professional with comprehensive experience in non-profit and professional sports industries. She is dedicated to advancing relationships and programs among non-profit partners and key stakeholders to exceed strategic priorities. Maya excels when tasked with fast-paced projects and initiatives that require unconventional solutions, decisive leadership and creative thinking.

 

As a December 2020 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), Maya received her bachelor's degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and minored in General Business. While in school, Maya worked as a Student Marketeer with Red Bull, Cycle & Yoga Instructor at VCU's Rec Center and briefly with VCU's Athletic Communications Department (prior to COVID shutdown).
